“With immediate gondola access to Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the resort emphasizes family experiences with children's menus and activities, plus perks like ski and bike rentals right in the hotel. I especially note the Royal Javanese spa, unique to North America, promising a wellness-focused stay after mountain adventures. It's a solid choice for families wanting a blend of activity and relaxation.”

pool area friendly staff great restaurant cigarette smoke tired room room refresh
I found the pool area to be quite lovely and convenient to the village. The restaurant was great , and poolside service was wonderful. The staff was friendly and professional , so I had a great time.
My room was above the hotel entrance and smoking section , so cigarette smoke wafted in. I could not leave the window open for fresh air. The rooms seemed a bit tired and in need of a refresh.

loud air conditioning inoperative ice machine
the air conditioning unit was loud , and it seemed quite outdated. it struggled to maintain a consistent temperature in the room , so sleeping comfortably was difficult. also , the ice machine on our floor was out of service during my entire stay , requiring trips to other floors each time i needed ice. this was an unexpected inconvenience.
